Felt and Yarn is a company that is based in Nepal; licensed and registered as a private company.
Felt is a textile material made out of 100% natural wool which we source from New Zealand. This material is fabricated by matting, condensing and pressing the wool together.
There are many techniques we can use for felting. Felt and Yarn predominantly use techniques like wet felting, Nuno felting and needle felting.
Yes, all of our products are made out of 100% natural and renewable wool. Wool has great benefits; it’s eco friendly, biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Additionally, they are water and stain-resistant, not only that they also are odour resistant. They also have properties of temperature adjustment; cooler in summer and warm in winters.
We also use Azo-free dyes and refrain from using any harmful chemicals in our products which makes all our products completely safe for both babies and pets.
Felt and Yarn is the Fair Trade Felt Company of Nepal and all craft items are produced in our factory under safe and transparent working conditions by our felt artists. All artists are well-trained without any charge and undergo comprehensive handwork training. Yes! We do accept personalisation/ customisation of your order. For choosing different sizes and colours you can add your request in the message box while checking out. You can also add additional notes there, or can also reach us via email, WhatsApp and other social media platforms regarding your order.
Order Processing
After you have placed the order, you will receive an email with the confirmation of the order. Your order will then be verified by our sales team within 24 hours.
Once your order is received, it normally takes less than 24 hours to verify and send confirmation. If the ordered goods are already in stock then it will only take 2-3 working days until it is sent for shipment. If not then, the manufacturing process will take upto 2-3 weeks before the shipment.
Please note that custom orders will take a tad bit longer ranging around 3-4 weeks depending on the size, quantity and the intricacy of your order.
In case of urgency, we do have urgent services where your order will be given top most priority and will expedite as soon as possible free of charge.
Yes, it is possible to change the number, address and delivery date, just inform us via email or social media. But for the cases where the order is already in stock and sent out for shipment, the minimum charge (approx. USD 12) may apply for changing any above-mentioned information.
Shipment and Returns
For damaged goods or incorrect goods, we request you to reach out to us within 3 days of time frame until the arrival date. You will get a refund if an incorrect order or damaged product was sent to you.
For the shipment, we use different shipping companies for different countries.
- DHL normally takes up to 4-7 business days depending on the country
- Skynet normally takes up to 7-10 business days depending on the country
Durability and Maintenance

Our products are made out of 100% wool ethically sourced from New Zealand. We carefully handpick only the best quality of wool. That makes all our products exceedingly durable. From the feedback of our customers, our products can last up to 6 years with proper care.

After receiving the application, our sales team will analyse it and check for eligibility. Any product order quantity which is more than our given quantity on the website is eligible for wholesale application. After that, you will receive the required information and catalogues. Further then, our sales team will guide you through the negotiation process. After the final agreements on both sides, we can then proceed to order placement, payment and production.
